Blackout Box of FUN for Kids - Blackout Entertainment with Duracell

My Blackout Box of Fun for Kids with Duracell is a great distracting emergency kit for kids during a natural disaster. This shop has been compensated by #CollectiveBias, Inc.  and its advertiser.  All opinions are mine alone.  Obviously. #PrepWithPower

Just a few weeks back, I watched my husband roll his eyes at me as I mentioned I should really make sure my car had a full tank of gas and we had some basics like extra water and a couple of LED lanterns in the house.  Here in San Diego, there were wildfires in full swing and while where we live is usually not an area that is affected by them, you never know.  It just takes one genius with a cigarette butt after all.

20 Minutes For Me Kit - A DIY Relaxation Kit from Whole Foods Market

I created my 20 Minutes For Me Kit, a DIY relaxation kit as part of a sponsored post for Whole Foods #WFMSummerFun It's perfect for those in need of a little escape.

Do you know someone who can use a little escape from their day?  I can think of about 17 close friends that fall into that category.  This week I was thinking about the future and how little time I'll have to do girly things, you know, like taking a shower that ends with lotion application.  Thus my creation of the 20 Glorious Minutes For Me kit.  It's the perfect gift to yourself or to a friend to make and let them stash away until they desperately need that 20 minutes of sanity time.

SuperME - Super Hero Gear for Girls

Looking for super hero dress up gear for girls? This SuperME backpack is perfect for a little girl who wants to be a super hero on the go.  Thanks to SuperMe for sending one my way to test out.

A few weeks back, Kayla was invited to a birthday party that came with optional instructions to dress like a superhero.  Which is awesome if you're a little boy.  It's also quite limiting if you're a girl.  Probably because the only female super hero I can name is Wonder Woman?  Which is why I was very happy to find the SuperMe line.

How to Choose a Baby Gym - Tiny Love Gymini Developlace

Want to know how to choose the best baby play gym?  I'll show you how with tips to pick the best baby gym.  Thanks to Tiny Love for sending me this Gymini Developlace to check out.

Do you remember the days when words like teething necklace, Gymini and meconium were not in your vocabulary?  Yeah, I don't.  Probably because a motherhood induced coping mechanism prevents me from having full clarity of life before Kayla.  Also, I don't remember what I had for breakfast yesterday.   Now that we've gotten to easy with one fairly self sufficient 5 year old it just made sense to totally start all over again.  Not.

Babiators - The Best Kids Sunglasses

Casual observation: time is flying.  Because I could have sworn it was just winter and now suddenly we are in the thick of summer? Whoa.  More than ever I feel self induced pressure to make the most of summer and spend time outdoors with Kayla before suddenly I'm on house arrest with a snuggly mini monkey.  So let the marathon of eating up summer with my stylish little pre-tween begin.  There is such a thing as a pre-tween, right?

Pregnancy On The Go Kit - Healthy Habits For Second Time Moms

I created my Pregnancy On The Go Kit to promote women's health for busy pregnant mothers as part of a sponsored post for  #CollectiveBias #HerHealth

Have you noticed that there are a ton of companies out there trying to provide you with a kit that has everything you could possibly need while in the hospital giving birth?  Which is great.  But what about all of the months before?  And what about those of us who are second, third, fourth time and beyond moms?

I think it's safe to say that with each child "on the outside" you have exponentially less time to worry about the one on the inside.  Finding myself in this category recently I made this little Pregnancy On The Go Kit.  It packs in the very basics to take care of yourself and that baby while on the go with an older child.
